On December 26 2014, China Automotive Technology and Research Center released the results of the 2014 China-New Car Assessment Program (“C–NCAP”) vehicle collision evaluation. Changan CS75 earned 59 points - the highest score ever in C - NCAP history. CS75 has joined the “5 star safety club” together with Eado, Raeton, and EADO XT, making Changan the leading Chinese automaker when it comes to vehicle safety.

C – NCAP evaluates domestic new vehicle collision safety performance. Its well-recognized testing standards and authority have made C-NCAP one of the most important references that Chinese consumers look to when shopping new vehicles. “Positioned as stylish and safe for the new urban dweller, the Changan CS75 SUV has gained a solid reputation in overall safety, including body structure design, steel hardness, and technology. We are not surprised by CS75’s achievements," said Mr. Zhao, the Vice President of Changan Engineering Research Institute and a well-known car collision and safety expert.

According to Changan’s representative at the collision evaluation center, having top-of-the-line safety standards and a high-strength body, Changan CS75 can effectively withstand severe crashes and protect the well-being of passengers, which results in higher survival rates. The C - NCAP collision test results illustrate that the CS75 fully deserves its 5-star safety rating. After frontal collision tests, the A, B, and C pillars were intact with no visible deformation, and all four doors could be opened for the passengers’ timely escape.
