Changan Automobile debuts at the 2014 Bogota Auto Show

On November 19, 2014, Colombia's bustling capital city of Bogota opened its largest yearly automobile event: The Bogota Auto Show. This was the show that Changan chose to make its national Columbian debut.

As one of the top Chinese automotive brands, Changan’s show exhibit had a complete line of vehicles including: the CS35, CX20, The New Benni, and the M201. Standing with other global automakers, Changan’s exhibit included an extensive 350 square meters of indoor space. Taking it a step further, Changan opened an exclusive outdoor driving course for show visitors to further experience Changan vehicles.

Changan’s exhibit captured positive attention from the auto show crowd. As the first Chinese automaker in Colombia, Colombian’s were curious to see what exactly a “Changan” vehicle is. Comments from the crowd seem to indicate Changan has won a good measure of respect from Columbian car buyers.

Mr. Zhu, Changan Auto CEO, stressed that Changan will follow its "Customer-Centric" mission. Partnered with Columbia’s top dealership network ComAutomotriz S.A., Changan aims to further localize the Changan vehicles for the Colombian consumer, provide quality vehicles with leading customer service, build brand recognition and loyalty, and grow market share. Changan aims to grow both in Columbia and in the entire South American market. One day, Changan hopes to serve the transportation needs of consumers all across the world.
