On February 5 , Changan Automobile and Chongqing Nan'an District Sports Bureau signed a title sponsorship agreement, and the fifth Chongqing Changan International Marathon will be held in Chongqing on March 22, 2015 . After achieving sales of 2.54 million in 2014, Changan has entered a new brand building era. The sponsorship of this event is part of this effort, promoting a healthy lifestyle, environmental awareness, and Changan’s brand philosophy.

Product development efforts, the perfect ending of 2014

In 2014, Changan had total sales of 2.54 million, an increase of 20% of 2013, higher than the industry average of 13%. Among them, the Changan’s domestic-brand vehicle sales were 1.38 million , an increase of 20% , 22% higher than the industry average ; Changan domestic-brand passenger cars sales were 770,000 , an increase of 39% and outpaced industry average. It is reported that Eado, CS, Alsvin, Benni other models will launch new or tweaked models in 2015, and Changan’s the new energy strategy, also is to be released shortly, also sketched out a blueprint for the future development of new energy vehicles.

Strong branding efforts, more globalized than ever

Changan started its cooperation with the Chongqing International Marathon in 2013 and has gained positive social impact. To further its commitment to local community, Changan signed a one-time five-year strategic cooperation agreement this year.

Changan Automobile mentioned that it chose to cooperate with Chongqing International Marathon because of the three "fit". First , the fit in mass participant base. International Marathon has a broad participant base; Changan, with its 60 countries worldwide, 6000 sales and service outlets, 15 thousand employees, has great reach in the society as well.
