On May 15th, more than 21,000 participants took their places at the starting line of the Changan sponsored International Marathon in Peru.  The event kicked off with a spectacular two-day opening ceremony in Lima's famous water park.  Later, an excited crowd of spectators gathered at the marathon to support the diverse group of runners.

As an official sponsor, Changan exhibited the innovative CS75.  Brand ambassadors and company representatives were also on hand.  People from 15 different countries took part in this year's event, with participants flying in from all over the world.

Throughout the grueling race, runners were guided to the finish line by a fleet of Changan SUVs that not only reminded participants that they were making progress, but also beckoned them to press on to the end.
