Changan Automobile was recognized as the number one Chinese brand in Peru by the Automobile Association of Peru (AAP: Asociación Automatriz del Perú) on the 9th of June.  This is the company's latest big success in the country.  Last year, Changan was named the fastest growing Chinese brand in Peru.

In 2015, Changan sponsored the Inca Road Rally, which is a well-known event.  With a history that spans more than 45 years, Inca Road was among Changan's earliest marketing events in Peru.  Changan brand awareness has increased in the Peruvian market via participation in events such as this race, as well as by offering appealing vehicles.  In May 2016, Changan was the first car brand to sponsor the Peru International Marathon.  CS75 was the official car of the marathon, and escorted more than 20,000 runners and fans at the event.
