New Eado scores five big wins at second CPCC in Karamay

The second China Car Performance Challenge (CCPC) wrapped up in Karamay, China on September 18, 2016.  Changan Automobile's New Eado earned champion status in the compact segment five times.

The company took part in this year's CCPC with its hottest models including CS15, New Eado, Eado EV, and Alsvin V7 1.0T GDI.  With capable power, precise driving, and outstanding performance, Changan Automobile came out on top.

Forty-seven models from twenty-nine brands participated in the CCPC Karamay competition this year.  In the T-team 300 km long distance efficiency test, New Eado traversed gravel roads to score the lowest fuel consumption among competitors, including joint venture brands.  With 12.65 liters total fuel consumption and 3.95 liters per 100 km, Eado sailed into first place.  In the serpentine road test, New Eado won within its team at 10.75 seconds, and took second place among all brands (including joint venture brands).  In the moose test, New Eado placed first at 3.63 seconds, and took second place among all brands (including joint venture brands).  In the 100 km-0 straight braking system test, New Eado again won in the team with the result of 42.8 meters while simultaneously winning in the naturally aspirated compact sedan team.  Additionally, Eado EV took first place in the moose test at 3.84 seconds.

Changan Automobile's success not only demonstrates the company's outstanding technology, but also highlights "made in China" product research and development capabilities.  We firmly believe that Chinese auto brands will have a bright future with Changan Automobile leading the way.  We look forward to more spectacular performance at the next competition!
