Beirut is known as the "Paris of the Middle East." And despite recent turmoil, it remains a charming, vibrant city.
Though Lebanon is a small country, almost every large international car brand has already entered the Lebanese market. However, the same cannot be said about Chinese car brands. They've been lagging behind, and none of the large Chinese players have managed to get a foothold in the country. Some Chinese auto brands have tried their luck in Lebanon, but most of them have failed to provide quality products and service. This has harmed the reputation of Chinese brands; and still many associate Chinese cars with poor service and quality.
In 2017, Changan officially entered the Lebanese market determined to impress the locals. Even though it's a late arrival, Changan offers a wide product selection and market-leading vehicle service. The Chinese automotive giant hopes this will stimulate demand and improve local perception of Chinese car brands.
On July 12, 2017, Changan held a sophisticated launch event in Beirut to celebrate the brand's entry into the Middle Eastern country. The event's long guest list included government officials, bankers, entrepreneurs, and officials from the Chinese Embassy. After the unveiling of Changan's offerings, many attendees expressed admiration for the models on display, and several guests said they couldn't wait to take the cars for a spin.
RAS Motor Company will be Changan's partner in Lebanon. Together they intend to achieve unprecedented success.
