The 12th China Chengdu International Auto Industry Fair was held at the New International Exhibition Center in Chengdu on August 25, 2017.  Fifteen high-quality models - including CS55, CS75, CS95, and Linmax - were displayed in the H1 Pavilion.  Changan's New Eado XT RS was launched during the Auto Industry Fair.

New Eado XT RS exhibits a progressive design which underscores its sporty nature.  It's trimmed in red and black with a recognizable front grille, sharp headlamps, and "RS" badging in the rear. There are other sporty touches which illuminate the appeal of this new sport hatchback. 

New Eado XT RS's best feature is its 1.5L turbocharged GDI Blue Core engine which reaches 125 kW maximum power at 550 rpm when paired with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission which gets 260 Nm maximum torque at 1750 to 4000 rpm.

During the previously held "Drive with Passion" media test drive, New Eado XT RS garnered praise for its maneuverability and excellent powertrain.

Changan Automobile presented SUVs, sedans, and MPVs, as well as a concept car that represents Changan sedan development trends.

The well-received Changan CS55 SUV also sparked keen interest from the audience.  Since its launch, CS55 has received approximately 10,000 orders in 12 days in China, demonstrating strong sales capability.  In the past China Performance Car Challenge event, CS55 won the compact SUV group's comprehensive championship via its brilliant field performance.

Changan Automobile and NXP Semiconductors have established a strategic partnership to jointly popularize the application of their new technology.  This collaboration will lead to more efficient semiconductor technology innovation that serves automobile industry demands.

Many rich and colorful activities took place at the Motor Show.  Artists offered attendees an opportunity to observe and appreciate the blending of technology and art.  

The launch of New Eado XT RS makes Changan's compact hatchback product line more complete while providing more customer choice.  With the launch of various products this year, Changan is trending upward and driving toward a brighter future.
