Changan Automobile is 14-time champ at CCPC in Dafeng

The second leg of the 2017 China Car Performance Challenge (CCPC) took place on September 23rd and 24th in Dafeng, Yancheng.  After winning in Karamay, Changan Automobile's advanced core technology and skillful team performance dominated the second station in Dafeng, and won fourteen championships with CS95, CS55, and Linmax.

The long-distance fuel economy test was held on Roundabout Highway.  This track is better suited to high-speed conditions compared to the Ghost City track in Karamay.  The Dafeng track provides consumers with more practical results.  Other events included the track time trial, interior noise at uniform speed, interior noise at idle speed, hill starting, and emergency braking on wet pavement.  Soft power and quality were also tested, and the strengths of various competitors were assessed.

CS55 won five championships, including the following: interior noise at minimum air speed and idle speed, interior noise at maximum air speed and idle speed, interior noise at 50 km/h uniform speed, interior noise at 100 km/h uniform speed, and the comprehensive compact SUV group competition.

Linmax won six championships including the following: 0-100 km/h acceleration, 0-150 meter acceleration, and 0-400 meter acceleration, interior noise at minimum air speed and idle speed, long-distance energy saving race at high speed, and the comprehensive MPV group competition.

CS95 won the following three championships: the track time trial, interior noise at minimum air speed and idle speed, and interior noise at maximum air speed for the medium and large-sized SUV group.

Consumers recognize Changan's outstanding quality and performance.  Whether building quality vehicles or establishing the Changan Travel carsharing service, Changan promotes customer confidence.

Changan Automobile's CCPC triumph in Karamay laid a foundation for the success which came to fruition in Dafeng.  Now that the second leg of the challenge is in rearview mirror, the third event in Yakeshi is vital.  We look forward to even more successes!
