On the night of September 11, 2017, Gong Bing, Changan Automobile vice president, arrived in Russia for a comprehensive investigation and survey.  Though time was limited, he visited a competitor dealership and had a few workshops with other Chinese auto executives in Russia.

The next morning, Mr. Gong visited Finix, a Changan dealership in Russia.  The store had just opened, so there were few customers.  A middle-aged couple entered the showroom and stopped in front of a CS35.

Seeing this, Mr. Gong volunteered to tell them about CS35.  He enthusiastically introduced the brand's history, the CS series, and its key selling points including its premium quality. CS35 is produced locally in Russia and comes with a 5-year, 150,000 km service guarantee.  Changan's dealership and service network now extends throughout major cities in Russia.  After the introduction, Mr. Gong gave the couple a small gift and thanked them for their attention.

The pair said they had been interested in CS35's design and quality for a long time.  Persuaded by Mr. Gong's enthusiastic introduction, they decided to buy a CS35 right after.  The showroom manager commented on it with excitement: "It was the fastest deal ever.  Mr. Gong was a "super salesman.'"

With the economic recovery, the Russian auto market has a chance to return to the good old days.  If Changan can take that chance and better satisfy customers, it will be the top Chinese auto brand in Russia.
