Gulf region's top automotive journalists visit Changan facility

While Changan is riding a Beijing Auto Show-induced wave of enthusiasm, a group of top automotive journalists from the Gulf Cooperation Council have arrived at the company's Chongqing headquarters.  On the 26th, seven journalists and key opinion leaders were invited to visit Changan's Yuzui factory and an R&D Center.  They were also invited to test drive eight recently launched or updated models.

During the Yuzui factory visit, the group was interested in the plant's modernity and advanced automation equipment.  They asked questions about production capacity, automation processes, and human resources management.  They gained knowledge about the manufacturing process which includes stamping, welding, painting, and assembly.

The group later moved to the technology exhibition hall in Changan's R&D Center Center.  There they learned about the company's recent achievements and took a closer look at the collision and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) laboratories.

After visiting the labs, the journalists test drove Raeton CC, Eado, Eado DT, CS95, CS75, CS55, Eado EV300, and CS15 EV.  A CS55 IACC with autonomous driving technology also was available to be experienced.

The Gulf region is one of the most important cluster markets in Changan's overseas development strategy. Since the first product launched in 2016, Almajdouie Motors and Changan have executed a series of successful marketing events.  Changan's brand awareness ranks highest among Chinese vehicles.  In March, Changan's Extreme Heat Challenge campaign was named "Best Marketing Campaign" during the 6th PR Arabia National Auto Award Ceremony.
