The Changan CS35 Plus SUV was recently launched at the 21st Chengdu International Automobile Expo. The company also exhibited CS75, CS55, XT EV460, and 10 other models.
CS35 Plus is equipped with artificial intelligence and integrated with several Tencent services which allows vehicle-smartphone interaction. (Tencent is an internet-related technology company.)
The new SUV is equipped with Tencent broadcasting station, QQ music, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, passenger air bags, active braking, and 360° panoramic around-view monitoring, among other features.
CS35 Plus looks great inside and out. It sports a black-highlighted front grille, a simple body line, stylish tail lights, floating roof design, and an ultra-large sunroof. The intelligent central control screen, Nappa leather seats, and attention to detail offer both comfort and luxury.
The automotive landscape has been rife with competition this year. That said, new collaborative partnerships have been inked between OEMs and suppliers over the last several months. Changan recently partnered with Tencent intending to jointly develop an open platform for the internet of vehicles, cloud computing, and more. That partnership has now borne fruit in the form of the CS35 Plus.
During the Beidou Tianshu Intelligent Strategic Release Press Conference in August, Changan announced that it would open the technical innovation platform, integrate the resources of scientific and technical enterprises, the internet, and suppliers to create an alliance. In time, the company will provide an intelligent mobile experience for users.
Changan also said that it will reinforce its planned optimization of product manufacturing and layout. The introduction of CS35 Plus has further perfected the company's CS series.
The second generation XT was also recently launched.
Changan is also planning releases for CS75 PHEV and CS85 among other new vehicles in the latter half of the year.
