The Saudi Autocross Championship was held in September at the Dirab circuit in Riyadh. 

The event was supervised by the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation with the participation of a large number of professional race car drivers.  Fierce competition and audience enthusiasm created an atmosphere of exhilaration.

The Almajdouie Racing Team, led by Saudi Captain Sultan Kayello, participated in the first round of the competition.  His adroit driving skills reminded onlookers of past Almajdouie Group Racing Team victories.

In spite of a long absence from racing, Sultan Kayello proved his mettle by placing second in group A, which is the strongest heat in the Championship.  After the coronation, the Sultan expressed his pleasure with his results.  He also thanked the Almajdouie Motors Company and Changan for their continued support which enabled his racing success.
