The grand opening of the Albakhet Changan premium showroom recently took place at the Free Zone in Zarqa, Jordan. 

Xiao Feng, general manager of the Changan International Corporation, Fadhil Alshammari, president of the Albakhet Group, and Albakeht Group CEO were in attendance.  Albakhet Changan is the automaker's sole distributor in Iraq.

Albakhet Changan invested about a million dollars and built its showroom in just 60 days.  Located on an 8,000 square meter parcel, the showroom can accommodate more than 65 cars.

This new facility promotes Changan's corporate image and standards, and showcases Changan products in the best way.  Visitors can interact with high-quality products alongside 25 staff members and highly qualified sales professionals who answer questions and introduce customers to vehicles that suit their needs.

Khalid Alshammari expressed his company's enthusiasm about partnering up with the company to open Albakhet's first Changan showroom to offer the brand to Iraqi customers in the Free Zone in Zarqa, Jordan.  The Free Zone supplies cars to the Iraqi market and is considered to be one of the most important hubs.  Over 60% of cars exported to Iraq go through this Jordanian Free Zone.

Mr. Khalid talked about Changan's recent global achievements and his expectation that its partnership with Albakhet Group - one of the biggest automobile dealers in Iraq - will lead to more success.
