Changan's new CS85 provides glimpse into the future

The 16th China International Automobile Exhibition recently took place at the Pazhou Complex in Guanzhou.  Changan Automobile showcased 21 models in the exhibition halls for passenger and new energy vehicles.

CS85, Changan's first coupe SUV, was unveiled to the public.  It's expected to boost the development of China's intelligent vehicle sector.

CS85 integrates Changan's "Dynamic Vitality" design philosophy into a hatchback SUV.  With a visually impactful, aggressive front fascia and stylish LED headlamps, this SUV sports a unique exterior look.  Osram's high-performance LED chips convey twice the luminosity of conventional headlamps and have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours.  The rear design captures the vehicle's essence of performance.

CS85's elegant and luxurious interior features double stitching, fine leather grain, and a level of comfort surpassing that of other cars.  The user-friendly 12.3-inch HD LCD display and 10.25-inch LCD instrument panel featuring three switchable theme modes elevate the driver experience.

With a Blue Whale 2.0T power plant mated to an Aisin 8-speed automatic transmission, CS85 has great fuel economy and responsive acceleration, going from zero to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.

The automotive industry is strategically focused on new energy and vehicle intelligence.  Changan has launched an intelligent strategy to transform itself from a traditional automobile manufacturing enterprise into an intelligent travel technology company.

Changan is generating a number of firsts in autonomous driving which is at the heart of vehicle intelligence:  Changan was the first to complete a 2,000 kilometer self-driving test.  The first to mass produce APA 4.0 automatic core driving technology.  The first to achieve APA 6.0 high-level self-parking. The first to mass produce IACC self-driving core technology.  The first to exhibit Level 4 self-driving.  CS85 is also the first vehicle to be equipped with both IACC and APA 4.0 - a new benchmark for Chinese intelligent vehicles.
