The Changan CS15 earned a place in the winner's circle at the 2018 Paraguay Rally.  This was Changan's fifth appearance at the annual event where the company placed first in various categories from 2015 to 2018.  The hot-selling CS15 participated in the race for the first time this year.

CS95 is outfitted with hill-start hold control, hill descent control, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and a voice interactive system.  Intelligent technologies, rich content, and superior performance are all features of CS95.

In the first quarter of 2018, a total of 3,725 vehicles were shipped to South America, with 3,620 of them going to retail.  The total shipment increased 45% year over year, with retail up 105% - a historic high.  Among all Chinese brands, Changan's export ranked first in Chile.  It is, indeed, a very successful beginning for Changan in the Americas.

Changan Automobile held Eado Night, a listing conference, to launch the second generation Eado and Eado DT on March 27th. Over the past two years, popularity of Chinese brand vehicles has increased in the domestic market. The addition of two new models to the Eado Family will increase Changan's coverage of the compact vehicle market.

Do you remember the delivery ceremony for 50 Changan New Star retrofitted food trucks in Malaysia in 2016?  Those vehicles were given to local charities which sold them at low prices to local low income residents to help them start their own businesses.

Changan Automobile recently announced the launch of its Integrated Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC), a Level 2 autonomous technology.

The Extreme Heat Challenge was named the "Best Marketing Campaign" during the 6th PR Arabia National Auto Award Ceremony on March 18th in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 

Changan tested the CS55 in La Paz, Bolivia on March 15th.  The highest capital city in the world - with rugged landscapes and rolling hills - is a big challenge for vehicle and driver alike.  Yet the able CS55 conquered the challenging terrain with ease.

CX70 has been selected as the most cost effective 7-seater SUV by the Chilean automotive press.  Consequently, it has gained in both attention and reputation in this market segment. 

Good news keeps coming for Changan's overseas operations.  The automaker made its Pakistan market debut at the 15th International Trade & Industry Fair in Karachi on March 13th.  CX70 and three commercial vehicles were exhibited.
