The first Egyptian-built Changan CS35 rolled off the MMI factory assembly line in Cairo.

The new Raeton CC's first media test drive took place in Sanya, Hainan on December 5th, 2017.  That same day, Changan Automobile announced that pre-sale of the vehicle had begun.

Changan Automobile has been named a 2017 National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise by the Chinese Ministry of Information and Information Technology.  Changan is the only automaker on the list.

The 2017 Tehran International Auto Show opened at the Iran Exhibiran International Fair on November 26th.  Among the most important auto exhibitions, the Tehran show attracted a number of well-known brands.  Changan Automobile's New Benni, Eado EV, CS35, CS55, CS75, and CS95 appeared and were very influential.

Changan Racing driver Mario Hart steered his Eado XT to victory and took the Great National Road Prize of the Inca Trail.  Nearly 100 race car drivers participated in the grueling competition from October 28th to November 5th amidst extreme weather and road conditions.

Changan recently participated in the Lima Auto Show in Peru alongside some of the biggest auto brands in the world.  Multiple top-selling models were exhibited in the Changan booth.  The display garnered the attention of guests.

Changan Automobile vice president Li Wei recently announced that the California Department of Motor Vehicles has granted the Chongqing-based automaker permission to test self-driving vehicles on public roads.  Changan, like many global automakers, is committing resources to innovating in the autonomous sphere.

On the night of September 11, 2017, Gong Bing, Changan Automobile vice president, arrived in Russia for a comprehensive investigation and survey.  Though time was limited, he visited a competitor dealership and had a few workshops with other Chinese auto executives in Russia.

On October 26th, Reguera Motors - the official Changan dealer in Paraguay - launched the new Changan M-1027 in the country.  The new truck boasts a refreshed design, spacious interior, greater power, and increased load capacity.  All of this ensures that it stands out as a star in Changan's catalogue.

Changan Automobile introduced its new powertrain with a test drive event in Chongqing on August 9th.   The company launched four models equipped with the new engine/transmission combination.
