The 2015 Guangzhou Auto Show opened on November 20th. Changan Automobile showcased its twenty-one models, including the brand new SUVs. Adding to an already strong lineup, Changan launched the long-awaited CS15 at this show.
Late in November 2015, the international portion of the third season of the "Free & Starry Sky Journey" of the Changan CS series began. The "Starry Sky Journey" spreads the free spirit embodied in CS SUVs, and advocates the CS lifestyle which values freedom, truth, and nature. Members of the Silk Road exploration team traveled to Italy and drove from Rome to Milan. Along the way, they visited Florence, the origin of the Renaissance, the beautiful harbor town of Genoa, and Turin, which is one of the world's premiere automotive cities.
The "Exploring Legends" event has come to an end after touring Azerbaijan and South America. The finale of this exciting journey was held in Egypt, a country rich in history. It was a magical journey across the Sahara Desert, alongside the Nile, a journey which explored a 7,000-year-old ancient civilization, and examined one of the world's ancient cultures. Changan Automobile brought you closer to Egypt.
On October 19th, the Third Annual Eado City Challenge kicked off in Beijing. The event will travel to several Chinese cities. Each City Challenge produces one winner who moves on to a future championship round. For the Beijing Challenge, new rules and a new series of competitive missions were introduced at an all-new venue. Changan invited customers, fans, and the media to test drive and check out new technology during the event. The participation of nearly a hundred contestants produced an exciting show for all those who looked on.

Changan Automobile was seen on the marquee screens of New York City's Times Square on October 1st. The occasion was the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
The Chinese Production Car Performance Competition (CPC) opened on August 23, 2015 in Zhuhai, China. The event included the T Group Challenge, which took place over a fierce two day competition. Four Changan models competed and won in a number of key categories with their engine performance, precise handling, and excellent stability.
Mcity, the new 32-acre autonomous vehicle testing environment, opened July 20th on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. This research facility - consisting of city streets, complex intersections, dirt roads, highways, tunnels, and simulated forest covered roads - was established by U-M's Mobility Transformation Center (MTC) in conjunction with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), and with the support of automotive manufacturers and suppliers, telecommunication companies, and the global insurance industry.
Changan Automobile's long-awaited brand promotional activity, Exploring Legends, officially kicked off in June. Grand Rally Racing welcomed its fourth competition with a formal opening ceremony in Encarnacion, Paraguay, on June 26, 2015. When automotive brand-sponsored race cars arrived, Changan Eado XT - the only Chinese auto brand entry - won cheers from the audience.
On May 7th, Changan Automobile announced its April 2015 cumulative sales. In April, Changan produced 240,872 vehicles and sold 227,257 units, a production increase of 6.09% year-over-year. April sales were up 5.79% versus April 2014. Through April, Changan produced 983,796 units, an increase of 11% compared to the first four months of 2014. Also through April, and with joint venture brands, Changan sold 1,032,015 units - a 16.28% increase versus April 2014 YTD. It is worth noting that this was the first time Changan sales exceeded one million units in the first four months of any year.
